Australian owned market innovator Red Spot Car Rentals will be the first car rental company in Australia to offer electronic toll road passes with its rental cars. From September 1st 2006 Red Spot will make the electronic toll road passes available from its Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane airport and downtown locations Sydney and Melbourne.
We are proud to announce this initiative after being asked to provide electronic toll road passes by our regular customers. We started by offering the electronic toll road passes on a 3-month trial at Sydney Airport for a flat rate of just $16.50 per day per electronic toll road pass. This includes unlimited toll road use on any motorway with electronic tolling, says Dan Mekler CEO of Red Spot Car Rentals.
The electronic toll road passes can be used on all electronic equipped motorways in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. With more and more new toll roads and motorways no longer accepting cash for payment electronic toll road passes are an absolute must.
