Driving pleasure
Mégane brings drivers a unique driving experience. It features electric power steering with the "tube-in-tube" sliding joint, originally developed for Mégane Renault Sport. This set-up provides a high level of precision while limiting vibrations. The new lively, but frugal 150hp 2.0 dCi 16V engine offers a level of dynamic performance rarely seen in this segment.
Design
Mégane Sport Tourer’s dynamic and determined demeanor is made more intense by its newly designed headlights, radiator grille and front bumper. The prominent foglights heighten the vehicle’s sporty side. Its wheelbase is longer than that of the Hatch for significantly increased space at the rear, while the wider rear doors make access easier
Safety
Building on the five-star Euro NCAP rating received by the Hatch, the Mégane Sport Tourer features a reinforced body structure adapted to its architecture. This structure includes energy absorption and programmed crumple zones for optimum deformation in the event of impact. ABS, Emergency Brake Assist, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System and new-generation ESP ensure precise handling in all circumstances.
