All models in the Peugeot Open Europe 2012 range are equipped with ABS brakes, airbags, antitheft, radio/CD player, central locking, electric windows.
All wagon models have luggage covers. Many also come with intergrated MP3 fittings.All Peugeot vehicles are left hand drive.

Who is covered?
The contract title holder as well as any other non-paying passenger, up to the authorized maximum number of passengers indicated on the vehicle's registration certificate.
The vehicle itself, registered under the French special category "T".
For How Long?
You are covered both for assistance and insurance for the duration of your contract, as indicated on your purchase order and on your international automobile insurance card.
Insurance
Your vehicle is covered by a multi-risk, non-deductible policy which offers the following guarantees:
*Civil liability of the driver (including liability for non-paying passengers transported).
*Vehicle fire.
*Theft of the vehicle (if reported to the police).
*Broken windows.
*Damages incurred by accidents involving the vehicle, including acts of vandalism (if reported to the police).
*Legal protection.
*Coverage of the driver.
24-Hour Assistance
The 24-hour, 7-day Peugeot Sodexa Assistance will come to your assistance in the following events:
*A breakdown that immobilizes the vehicle and which cannot be repaired the same day.
*Accident or attempted theft which immobilize the vehicle and of which the resulting damages cannot be repaired the same day (Warning: in the event of an attempted theft, a detailed report and police report are compulsory).
*Theft of the vehicle (Warning: detailed report and police report are compulsory).
What's not covered?
The following incidents will not be covered by the insurance:
*Flat or damaged tyres (except vandalism).
*Wrong fuel type, empty gas tank or wrong lubricant type.
*The loss or theft of luggage or personal belongings.
*Fines, tickets and alcohol-related accidents.
*The loss of the vehicle keys.
*Any visibly improper use of the vehicle.

Booking:
Deliveries within France must be booked at least 35 days (20 days for Paris) in advance. Deliveries outside France must be booked at least 35 days in advance. Late bookings are not guaranteed.
Deposit:
Please note Peugeot levied deposits may be required and will be advised at time of reservation.
Payment:
Final payment is required 45 days prior to departure from Australia, unless specified otherwise. If for any reason final payment is not received by the due date, globalCARS reserve the right to treat the reservation as a cancellation.
Invoices:
An invoice is sent upon confirmation of your reservation outlining all aspects of products booked. Confirmations are subject to unadvised changes in depot hours, fleet conditions, stopsells and one way hires until full payment has been received.
Lease Forms:
It is essential that lease forms, together with 2 photocopies of the registered driver’s passport, are returned 2 weeks after confirmation or at least 6 weeks prior to the delivery of your vehicle, whichever comes first and prior to departure from Australia. A faxed copy of the lease forms and passport details are required before the original forms are mailed to us. If you hold a European passport, a photocopy of your passport, a statutory declaration confirming your residency and employment in Australia and a copy of a utility bill which is 6 months old is also required. Late return of these documents will delay delivery of your vehicle.
Travel Documents:
Once payment is received, travel documents will be issued. Please note vouchers are accountable documents and serve as exchange vouchers for products you have booked.

Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend you take out suitable travel insurance cover. This can be arranged through globalCARS.
Health and Immigration:
Please ensure you comply with all passport, visa and health requirements necessary for the countries you wish to visit. globalCARS is not responsible for advising on passport, visa or health requirements. Your Travel Agent or doctor will be able to advise you.
Loyalty Bonus:
If the registered driver has previously leased a vehicle with Peugeot between the years 2005-2010, an additional 3 free days will be given.
Rates do not include:
Additional fuel or oil, tolls, flat or damaged tyres, fines or penalties due to traffic violations, loss or theft of vehicle keys and transponder card or theft of personal belongings inside the vehicle.
Vehicle Service: the first service for each Peugeot is due at 20,000Kms for diesel HDI vehicles and 30,000Kms for petrol vehicles. This is at the clients own expense.
Local toll, highway fees or travel stickers which may be required by local authorities.
Vehicle:
Peugeot vehicles are left hand drive (including collections in London). The definition and/or specifications of the Peugeot vehicles displayed are subject to change without notice.
Duration:
Minimum lease period is 17 days. Maximum 175 days. Peugeot leasing is based on calendar days.
Age Limit:
Minimum rental age is 18. A full driver's licence is required for a minimum of 1 year. Maximum age: No limit.
Driver’s Qualifications:
All drivers must hold a full valid drivers licence with a clean driving record for a minimum of one year. A learner or provisional drivers licence is not accepted. An international licence is required for many countries including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Spain. Additional Drivers:
Yes you are able to have additional drivers and there is no additional fee, however there are restrictions as follows. All additional drivers must fit the requirements of the program and the registered driver must be in the vehicle at all times. Exception is immediate family members - Spouse, son or daughter who has the same surname and residential address as the registered driver. They may drive locally without the registered driver but under no circumstances can the family member take the vehicle across any borders or for lengthy periods without the registered driver in the car.

Fuel:
All vehicles are supplied with 10-15 litres of fuel free of charge. You are not required to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
Optional Accessories:
Optional accessories such as a child seat, ski racks, snow chains and roof bars are available at an additional cost and must be pre-booked and prepaid in Australian Dollars prior to departing Australia.
Tyres:
All vehicles are fitted with standard tyres prior to leaving the Peugeot Sodexa factory. Standard tyres are not suitable for all weather conditions. It is the clients responsibility to purchase the appropriate winter tyres whilst overseas and have them fitted and removed at an authorised Peugeot dealer.
Between November to March it is compulsory to fit winter tyres in some European countries. Clients should check this requirement for the countries they are intending to visit.
For safety reasons, it is the responsibility of the contract holder to ensure that their car suits the road, weather conditions and the legal requirements for road safety throughout the countries where the car will be driven during the term of the contract.
Snow chains can be pre paid with globalCARS prior to departure, and supplied by Peugeot Sodexa at time of collection. Tyre punctures and tyre and wheel damage of any kind are at the leasee’s expense.
Vehicle Return:
Please call the Peugeot agent at the drop-off location at least 4 business days prior to the return date to arrange a drop-off time. For more details refer to the Peugeot booklet which is provided with your vouchers..
