Peugeot 4007 Gallery Peugeot

Peugeot has teamed up with Mitsubishi to provide customers with a 4x4 model for the first time. The 4007 is built by Mitsubishi and is based on the 2007 Outlander but Peugeot has added some unique styling details, and a strong 156bhp 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine. Although the acceleration time from 0-62mph at 9.9 seconds looks brisk rather than quick, the mid-range performance of this engine is most impressive. The 4007 comes as an occasional seven-seater with a small third row bench that folds completely flat and there's good cabin space up front too. The 4007 will seat five adults in comfort, with plenty of headroom and leg room. Most of the time the 4007 is intended to be used as a five-seater and has a minimum luggage capacity of 441 litres up to the window. This can be increased to 510 litres with the second-row seats slid forward. The 4007 hasn't been crash tested, but the near identical Mitsubishi Outlander was awarded four stars for adult occupant safety in crash Euro NCAP tests which is respectable and on par with other offroaders.
