All the advantages of a versatile MPV are here, such as 
class-leading cabin and boot space and a commanding driving position. There's outstanding peripheral visibility and light, which makes for safer driving while also upping the 'wow' factor.
The easy-to-use modular design, uncluttered interior space and the high levels of onboard comfort further enhance its range of desirable features. There are three models to choose from, all featuring 7 airbags, automatic air conditioning, auto lights and wipers, and electronic stability control.
The diesels make the most sense - especially the 1.6HDi which is capable of 48mpg.
A huge glass area means that the inside is light - even with the dark cloth trim of most models, while visibility is excellent all round. The panoramic windscreen (which comes as standard on all models) also helps this airy ambience although most of the time you're likely to keep the sliding blinds forward to stop being dazzled. It's quiet on the move, with wind noise only noticeable at higher motorway speeds while the seats are comfortable, even if the rear ones are a little narrow.
The C4 Picasso was awarded a maximum five-star Euro NCAP crash test score. All cars have seven airbags (dual front, side, curtain and driver’s knee), ABS with electronic brake force distribution and an electronic stability programme, four Isofix child seat anchor points (an exceptionally high amount) and hill start assist. Plus there is a ‘lane departure warning system’ on top models, which is activated when the driver strays over white lines and an interior mirror for keeping an eye on the kids in the back. Security-wise, every car gets remote central locking with deadlocks and an immobiliser.
