Europcar Australia have a supply of Ford Fairlane Ghia 4.0L (or similar)sedans with GPS Satellite Navigation at certain locations. These would be on request and the GPS unit is built into the vehicle.

UNITED KINGDOM & EUROPE

Hertz offer Computerised Driving Directions with the NEVERLOST (GPS) System. An onboard electronic mapping system giving you turn by turn directions in the United Kingdom & Europe. Selected locations only and on request. NEVERLOST is available on selected vehicles for a fee of £10 or €10 for 1 - 5 days and £50 or €50 per week (7 days)

Inter City rentals are now available between participating locations in-country within France, UK & Spain. There is a drop charge of £25 in the UK and €35 in Eur countries. (Paid Locally)

Alamo United Kingdom: As of April 2006 GPS is available upon request only at a cost of £5.99 per day VAT. Cannot be guaranteed and only available at the following locations. 
Currently available in London Heathrow Airport, London Gatwick Airport, London Marble Arch Depot, Manchester & Birmingham.

The satellite navigation system is portable and therefore fits in any car and any pocket! It is available for hire with any Europcar vehicle throughout the UK and can be booked when making a normal reservation.

Hertz:

Alamo:
PORTABLE GPS is available upon request, located at 51 depots at a cost of USD$9.99 per day. Please note units cannot be guaranteed before travel.

UNITED KINGDOM & EUROPE LEASING

Citroën Leasing in Europe:
offers many models with a satellite navigation system or GPS device fitted. The GPS can provide directions for all roads in France ONLY and most major motorways in Europe. You will need to purchase a separate disc if you require driving directions in other countries.


Peugeot:
Leasing in Europe offer GPS on selected Vehicles in Europe. At the time of delivery, Peugeot will supply one navigation CD Rom which includes a detailed road book for France.
Certain models in the Peugeot range come standard with GPS.

If the client wants to extend the coverage of their GPS to other specific countries of Western Europe (outside France), you must inform globalCARS at time of the original booking with the visited country(ies). By return, Peugeot will confirm if the customer's request is acceptable due to the delays to obtain this(ese) specific CD rom(s) from the supplier. The cost of the CD is AUD550 prepaid.

Renault:
Thanks to Renault Eurodrive, it is possible to have a vacation car equipped with GPS. Renault Eurodrive's GPS-equipped cars take the frustration out of vacation driving.

Renault's acclaimed Carminat GPS has a built-in wide screen color cartography display that shows drivers their location. The image zooms in or out at the touch of a button and the system speaks in a choice of languages. Drivers only have to punch in an address to receive detailed directions. The system even alerts drivers to missed turnoffs and traffic jams.

GPS is standard equipment on several Renault models, so travelers can be sure of having a choice of vehicles with GPS at no extra charge.
