No Surcharge Guarantee
We believe that the price you pay for your car rental should be the price confirmed to you when you make your booking. We therefore guarantee that once a booking has been made and a deposit paid, the price will not be subject to any surcharges (including currency).
Flight Information
For airport pickups it is essential that we be given the correct flight number and arrival time, before issuing your voucher. If this is not available at the time of booking, please ensure that you inform us of this at least seven days prior to departure. If the information is not provided in time, no responsibility can be accepted or compensation allowed for a failed rental.
Driving Licences
Drivers must produce a full National driving licence held for at least one year (or in some cases an international driving licence). We recommend you carry an International Drivers Permit (IDP) to be used in conjunction with your domestic driver's licence to avoid difficulties overseas, particularly if driving in non-English speaking countries. It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate driving licence.
No refunds will be given for rentals rejected due to non-production of a driving licence. Faxes or photocopies of licences are not acceptable.
Deposits
All clients must produce a valid credit card in the name of the driver upon collection of the car as a form of deposit. Cash deposits are rarely accepted. A deposit is often payable for petrol and it is usually refunded if the car is returned with a full tank. If the tank is not full, petrol used will be charged by our local supplier at the prevailing rate. Deposits against damage are required in all Countries and a major credit card can be used for this purpose.

ACRISS / SIPP CODES what they are... why they're useful...
Because individual rental companies may use different letter codes to identify similar car groups, to avoid confusion the international travel industry has adopted ACRISS / SIPP codes as a useful standard. Where possible, globalCARS.com.au shows both the rental company's group code followed by the ACRISS / SIPP 4-letter code. For example a car described in this brochure as ECMR would be:
E - Economy C - 2/4-door M - Manual R - Yes
| Class | Type | Gear Shift | Air Conditioning |
|---|---|---|---|
| M - Mini | B - 2 Door | A - Automatic | R - Yes |
| E - Economy | C - 2/4 Door | M - Manual | N - No |
| C - Compact | D - 4/5 Door | ||
| I - Intermediate | T - Convertible | ||
| S - Standard | W - Wagon | ||
| F - Full size | V - Van | ||
| P - Premium | S - Sports | ||
| L - Luxury | F - 4 Wheel Drive | ||
| X - Special | J - All Terrain |
